The person picking it up must show (either printout or on a digital device) the Square receipt verifying payment to pick up the animal. There are NO EXCEPTIONS to this policy.

We do not export animals. We only sell to the United States.

We accept all major credit cards. Note that for PayPal, we can only ship to your PayPal verified shipping address.

In extraordinary circumstances we may accept payment by US Postal Money Order. Please note this has several restrictions: For all orders placed with payment via U.S. Postal Money Orders, the animals ordered will be placed on a temporary hold awaiting payment.  Payment must be recieved within one week of the date the animal was first placed on hold, otherwise the animal will become available for sale again (no exceptions). We suggest that all U.S. Postal Money Orders be sent through U.S. Priority Mail and that we be provided with a Tracking Number by email, or some other service with a tracking number.

Shipping Rates

Please note we only ship animals on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays, and avoid shipping within two days of a postal holiday. This ensures that if there is a shipping exception, an animal does not spend more than one extra night in a box.

Guarantee and Return Policy

All animals at the East Bay Vivarium are guaranteed to be 100% healthy upon shipping.  There is no guarantee of live arrival unless otherwise stated or unless the animal is shipped via a service that guarantees live arrival, such as Delta Dash (though we have a virtually perfect success record with other services, as well).

We will try to accomodate the unexpected. If there is a problem with the animal, the East Bay Vivarium must be notified within 24 hours of arrival. If there is a delivery exception (eg, no one is home) the East Bay Vivarium offers absolutely no guarantees and takes no responsibility for the condition of the animal. The customer is responsible for the shipping of any and all replacement animals.

All deposits are final and non-refundable and non-transferable under any condition, no exceptions.

All returned unused and unopened supplies or canceled orders are subject to a 15% restocking fee. If your item is defective, we can exchange it for an identical item in accordance with the manufacturer's policy.

In the case of a returned product or animal, shipping charges cannot be refunded.

Please note California residents will be charged the current sales tax of Alameda County (As of August 2013, 9%).
